Den har successivt byggts p med fler sidor och det finns vldigt mycket historiskt material p portalen. Plattformen r idag omodern och skapades i frsta hand fr textbaserad information och fr att fungera med den tidens telefonmodem (256 KB). Idag r internet mer n 10 ggr snabbare med vanlig mobiltelefon. HUF har drfr beslutat att modernisera Holmportalen och samtidigt dela upp den i tv delar. En del, som i frsta hand vnder sig till beskare och turister, ppnades i somras och kommer att innehlla information om event och andra aktiviteter p Holmn, sevrdheter, boende mm.
